A visually rich ballet that brings Auguste Rodin’s sculptures to life. It explores the relationship between sculpture and movement, giving life to the stillness of Rodin’s famous works. The piece imagines what it might be like if Rodin’s statues stepped off their pedestals. The choreography shows the muscular torsions, gestures, and tension within his bronze and marble figures. The dancers emerge, pose, freeze and shift recalling "The Thinker", "The Kiss", and "The Gates of Hell".
