Mark Dickens, the great-great grandchild of the iconic Victoria author, is chair of the board of the Charles Dickens Museum. Charles Dickens’s wife, Catherine Hogarth Dickens, married Dickens in 1836, the same year his literary fame exploded with The Pickwick Papers. Together, they had ten children but separated in 1858 and the children lost touch with their mother, all except one.
