These award-winning performers are well-established, highly respected chamber musicians. The concert features work by Rachmaninoff (Trio elegiaque in G minor), Beethoven (Piano Trio in D major, Op. 70 No. 1 “Ghost”) and Arnold Schoenberg (Verklarte Nacht, arranged for trio). The theme is nighttime energy: agitated and calm, mysterious and astonishing. This is why Trio Zadig chose Rachmaninoff's poetic night, Beethoven's haunted night, and Schoenberg’s transfigured night.
