The Flute Concertos by CPE Bach - Trailer
59s
Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, abbreviated as C.P.E. Bach, was a prominent 18th-century German composer and musician. He was the fifth child and second surviving son of Johann Sebastian Bach. His flute concerti, composed for Frederick the Great, blend Baroque and Classical characteristics. C.P.E. Bach had a great sense of humor, often poking fun at the overly sentimental music style popular at the time. This performance by the Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt, includes 3 flute concertos.
