Designed by Jorge Gallardo (sets/costumes), with lighting by François Menou and costumes by Véronique Murat, the ballet includes standout principal dancers and a visually striking set. La Pastorale reflects Malandain’s disciplined aesthetic: clarity of gesture, rhythmic spatial patterns and uniform costume.
